Selah Morning is a text-message-based prayer and scripture service. We send daily prayer texts grounded in scripture, respond to messages you send, and provide related formation content. The service is informational and devotional. It is not a substitute for the local church, pastoral care, medical advice, mental health treatment, legal counsel, or any other professional service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Selah Morning. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the contact information you provide is your own.
Selah Morning is a paid subscription service. Pricing and plan details are presented at signup. Subscriptions automatically renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or through any cancellation flow we provide. After cancellation, your service continues through the end of the paid period.
We offer refunds within seven days of initial signup if you have not yet received service. After the initial period, we generally do not offer prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing cycle. We may make exceptions in our discretion.
You agree to use Selah Morning for personal, devotional purposes consistent with the service's character. You agree not to use the service to harass others, distribute the messages without permission for commercial purposes, attempt to access other users' accounts, or interfere with the operation of the service.
Selah Morning's content draws on confessional Christian sources and aims for theological care and biblical fidelity. The service is not the church and does not administer sacraments, absolution, or church discipline. For matters of personal sin, church membership, or pastoral care that belong to ordained officers, we will direct you to your local church and your pastor. If you are in a mental health crisis or considering harming yourself or others, please contact local emergency services or the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.
The content of the service, including the prayers and scripture commentary generated for you, is provided for your personal devotional use. The service's underlying software, design, and brand are owned by Selah Morning and may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission. Scripture quotations within the service are used under fair use or under license from their respective publishers.
The service is provided "as is." We make no warranties about the uninterrupted availability of the service or the suitability of any specific message for any specific situation. Generated content is shaped by confessional standards and aims to be biblically grounded and pastorally careful. Messages are produced with the assistance of large language models, with theological guardrails encoded in the system that generates them. Even so, generated content is not a substitute for the teaching of your local church, the counsel of a qualified pastor, or scripture itself.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Selah Morning's liability for any claim arising out of your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email or text before the changes take effect.
