From what you share, a prayer and Scripture passage are shaped to meet you where you actually are, written in modern clear English, addressed to God in your own voice. You can pray it as your own.
Through the day you can text back. Sit longer with the passage. Bring weight you cannot yet put into words. Ask a scripture question. Take a verse deeper into your particular life. The thread remembers your context across weeks and months.

01 How it works
You set a morning time. At that time, Selah begins the day with you, asking briefly what is on you. From what you share, a prayer and Scripture passage are shaped for the morning. Through the day you can keep texting back, up to fifteen messages depending on how much you reply.
The voice is plain, biblical, and weighty. The text waits for you. There are no notifications, badges, or streaks.
02 SMS opt-in and consent
When SMS enrollment opens, you will provide your mobile phone number on this site and confirm it via a one-time verification code. By providing your phone number, you consent to receive recurring text messages from Selah Morning, including a daily morning prayer and replies to messages you send.
Message frequency varies. Up to fifteen messages per day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
